| i was in a guild on wow and we got to saurfang i got saved and they where bad at raiding so i just gquit and now i want to continue where I left off on saurfang but people are saying that i cant do that because i was not raid leader and that i will be banned for the game and that they will not be able to continue like I'm stealing there raid???? ---i don't see how me continuing and downing more bosses myself without them would affect where they are in icc for this week....wouldn't i progress and and they just stay at saurfang??? pls help |

| Its Frozen. I don't know when I pay the subscription to start playing again, but what it use to let me is update it. I click on WoW, like I'm going to play it,enter my info to log in, and then it says its going to do some updates, then it gives me error message something happened. I don't know if this is the virus on my computer, or because my account is frozen. I'm afraid when i do pay, its going to give me that error message, thus making a stupid mistake. oh yeah, even if I haven't subscribed in a while, WHY does it say in Red anywhere in a section of the forum, i'm not allowed to post? |

| Open Question: Laptop fan always on and loud? |
| I bought my gaming laptop back in April 2009. It is an Asus F50S Notebook. Lately, whenever I run World of Warcraft, my laptop fan gets really loud and always pumps. This was NEVER the case before. I've run World of Warcraft successfully on this machine since April 2009 and I've never had an issue with the fan. I Google'd a couple sites and a lot of them say to CTRL ALT DEL and see which processes are over 10,000 and to set them to low priority. I only have 3 processes over 10k - explore.exe (12k); firefox.exe (11k); and WoW.exe (700k). Will setting Explore and Firefox to Low Priority cause my computer to mess up, or is there another way to successfully run my game without disturbing those around me? Thanks for all the replies. Here is some clarifications. Yes, the problem only exists when I run WoW. When I put my hand near the vent in the front, it is expelling hot air. I do not play on a pillow or the bed - my laptop is only played on a table or my desk at home. Right now, I'm currently typing on it at work. My fiancee would like to open my laptop and clean out the fan. Do you think that would help? |
